Actual training activities and methodologies are based on adult learning techniques (active learning and participant participation) that are then fine tuned to match the cultural learning styles of different participant groups. Unique approaches such as "sharing circle evaluations" and the participation of elders in program activities increase the relevance of classroom activities for trainees. This approach encourages participants to carry through with their complete training with a higher degree of success than is the case with "off-the-shelf" courses from mainstream trainers.
